Overview for Intermediate CA
The Chartered Accountancy examinations’ second level course is known as CA Intermediate or CA Inter. There are two groups, each with four students. A student can sign up for the ICAI CA Intermediate course after passing CA Foundation. The intermediate portion of the CA preparation course is where students gain a thorough understanding of the numerous facets of finance and accounting.
Qualifications for the Intermediate CA Course
The following two methods are available for candidates to sign up for the intermediate course:
- Through the CA Foundation Course: Candidates who earned at least a 50% score in the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India’s CA Foundation Examination.
- via the direct entry method: Direct registration for the CA Intermediate course is permitted for the following candidates:
- a graduate or post-graduate in commerce (with a minimum grade point average of 55%) or another field (with a minimum grade point average of 60%)
- a candidate who has successfully passed the Intermediate level test offered by the Indian Institute of Company Secretaries or the Indian Institute of Cost Accountants.

Syllabus and Subjects for Intermediate CA
The CA Intermediate Examination is a paper-and-pencil exam. There are two groups of four subjects each, for a total of eight subjects in the CA Inter course. The following information pertains to the CA Intermediate New Syllabus:
